Peacocke, Simpson and Associates has been in business since 1985 and its speciality has been the development of innovative processes, not only to solve metallurgical problems but also to develop new processes within our industry.

We soon realized that the equipment necessary to implement these innovations simply didn’t exist, or was inappropriate. APT was formed to address this need by manufacturing exactly what was required without compromise.

As a piece of equipment is developed, or possibly even a complete plant, this then becomes available as a product that can be duplicated and supplied to the industry in general. This capability has been expanded to the extent that over forty off-the-shelf designs are now available as products that can be supplied to fit a wide range of needs.

The emphasis has been placed upon complete, modular, pre-assembled package solutions. Our engineering team are constantly engaged in design and development such that even if a client’s specific needs require a tailored solution, the majority of the engineering is likely to have already been completed. This results in a rapid cycle time with minimal added costs and a high degree of confidence in the solution.

The company Ferrit is a private Czech company with worldwide presence and history dating back to 1993. Over the time Ferrit has transformed from a trading into a production company with an own R&D. An equipment for monorail suspended transport system has the largest share in Ferrit production and gained the company a leading position on world markets. Ferrit is extensively experienced in complete transport systems project preparations according to the specific needs of the workplace. Ferrit prepares projects of monorail track installations and based on customers request also a logistics optimization – proposal of optimal transport systems for transport of required volume of material in given time, including proposal of mining transport hubs – transhipments places – transhipment from one mode of transport to another. The projects include time calculations of transport continuities, which results in overview of required number of transport units and traction equipment.
